Issue in society registration no.

Dear Sir,

I have a property which was purchased 10 years back. Now I am about to sell this place.

The society registration no.is wrongly mentioned in the agreement.

How to rectify this issue? Is it necessary to make a rectification deed?

If a rectification deed is needed, is the presence of the seller required as I am not aware of her wherabouts.

This property is jointly owned by me & my brother. My brother is the main applicant while I am the co-applicant,

I have POA for selling this property as my brother works abroad. If a rectification deed is needed, will my brother be required.

Kindly reply urgently.

On the strength of the POA, you can carry out the rectification deed.

Dear Sir,

If the seller is not traceable, how do we go about?

Can I make a decleration/affidavit? Pls reply urgently.

Satish Iyer.
