Bail and judgment are two different subjects.

Post relevant / specfic facts of dispute and your query.

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     09 February 2024

bail for non-bailable offenses can be granted based on specific grounds, including:

  • If the accused is below or at 16 years of age.
  • If the accused is a woman.
  • If the accused is ill or infirm.
  • For habitual offenders, bail is granted only under special circumstances.

On what grounds bail can be rejected?

Evasion or attempt to evade the due course of justice; Abuse of the concession granted to the accused; Possibility of the accused absconding; Likelihood of/actual misuse of bail
