Only high Court exercise admirality jurisdiction.

Family courts and where there is no family courts, District court or any sub-ordinate court conferred power in this regard exercise juridiction in respect of family disputes.

In respect of immovable properties, the suit can be instituted where the property is situated.

and so on. These are only examples.

And for that matter any suit must be initiated only at the lowest competent court, apart from info what my ld., friends have already enlighted.
