Land acquisition matter before supreme court

Certain lands were acquired by govt under la act 1894 for the benefit of a housing coop society 1)the original land owners approached HC and SC number of times and failed to get relief from the courts and acquisition was upheld. 2) in the mean time original owners sold the property to several hundred of persons who have built the house and are residing there 3) these new buyers approached HC and came to be dis missed by both single bench and division bench now filed SLP in SC which is pending 4) these unauthorised occupants who are petitioners in SLP have come forward for compramise/settlement with the society 5) my question is whether compromise/settlement in the SC is possible now and can society can enter into such settlement 6) and whether SC will agree for this 7) Is there any precedence in SCs and if so it's judgement
