I am planning to purchase a plot in Tamil Nadu. The landlord is having two daughters (unmarried). Whether daughters will have any claim on this property in future, even though his father sold to us. Whether his daughters also have to sign on registration documents or not?

If it is his self acquired property then daughters don't have any share, if it is ancestral then father has not right to sell entire property. He can sell the property to the extent of his share only.
