Land size calculation related

I have a question related to land purchase. I've already purchased land, and according to the map in the document, it appears correct. Do we still need to conduct our own separate land measurement in the field?

Is there a possibility that the actual measurement is less than what is mentioned in the map in the document?

Please help me with these queries.

You can engage a private surveyor and get the land measurements.  You shall obtain a rectification deed from the seller if there is any difference.

If you are in doubt about the exact extent of the purchased land then you can get it surveyed and fix boundary stones accordingly.

What do you expect from experts on this platform when you have already stated to have completed sale / purchase transaction?

The buyer has to satisfy himself / herself on all issues (including measurement, title etc.)  before finalisation of transaction.
