Legal Troubles (None)     27 November 2014

Legal notice & reply

1. When Legal Notice (as well as reply) is narrated on multiple (6)  pages, does it have to contain signature of lawyer (and may be client) on all pages, or is it adequate if the lawyer signs just on the last page.

2. The lawyer (and client) have signed on the last page i.e. page 6 of the reply to legal notice. They have narrated an alibi on page 2 which can be disproved with evidence and thereby the dishonesty of the opposite party in avoiding performance of contract. However there is no signature on page 2.

  • (a.) Are the averments made in a reply legal notice considered with weight in a legal case.
  • (b.) Can the lawyer (and may be the client) deny averments on page 2 as there is no signature on page 2 and only signature on page 6.

Thanks in advance for your replies.
