Lower courts civil cases against govt, who is gp??

in constitutional courts cases against govt, defend govt advocate general/ attorney general or their team. In Jr/Sr principle courts who defend govt, particularly in land disputes with govt departments?

In lower courts government appoint local advocates to represent govt. department.

Yes, central Govt or State Govt appoints local advocates to conduct civil cases on behalf of them in lower courts.

There are lawyers on the penal / service of government to contest cases on behalf of goverment in all courts i.e., whether it is constitutional or subordinate courts.
