Hi Friends,
We have been living in rented house in one of area in bangalore for 2 years. We are group of 7 bachelors. We all are professionals working with reputed companies. Most of our time (9 to 7) we spend in office. When We come home after stressful day at office we do sit together and watch TV and some time we do make noise in case of watching cricket match or in case of some serious discussion. This all happen very rarely and it happens between 7 to 10:30 pm. One of the irritant neighbor used to always complaint about this and threaten us that he will call police. My question is it offenceable under law? Dont we have freedom to speech.
And today He called police (with his relationship) and police took us to police station kept us there for whole night without any warrant. We spent whole night there they took almost 2500 Rs from us & then left us in the morning. Being north indians we did not understand what charges he framed against us and what they were talking. Also While leaving us they told us it pity( dont know what it is) and in case they receive another complaint it would FIR against us.
Please guide us.
