May i buy a plot from gpa holder

Hello everyone, I am interested in buying a land/plot from a person (He is a builder ). having GPA. is this a legal deal nowadays. he promising the registry of that plot. Please provide some suggestions.

If possible, please advice detailed procedure.

generically speaking: If POA is valid and registered and confers such power on agent by principle ad both are alive it might be possible.

 

However proper legal opinion.

 

'Buyer Beware' applies to property deals.

It shall be appropriate to get proper legal opinion from a very able local senior counsel of unshakable repute and integrity specializing in revenue/property/civil matters before signing or making payment.

This may cost some FEE but can defend long term interest and hard earned monies.

can you please mention the place where you intend to purchase the flat.
As rightly pointed out by Mr.Kumar, if the GPA is registered and expressly empowers the attorney holder to sell the property, on the face of it, there appears to be no problem in purchasing the property from the GPA holder
