Mcd and poa

I might have to travel next week out of the country. My second motion date is on 5th November. I have provided power of attorney to my uncle. Does power of attorney work for divorce cases or do I have to be present for second motion ? I was present on the first motion .

Thanks

POA won't work, your personal attendance is needed

Your physical presence is mandatory in your second motion, poa will not work.

George you may file exemption mentioning your urgency in the interest of justice.  Take help of your lawyer.

I already mentioned its the discretion of the court whether to permit or not.First file an urgent motion in the court praying with valid reasons about UR commitment overseas.Urgencies don't matter in the courts only valid reasons.

One more thing is that if only MCD is there its ok,hope 498A and DV do not exist.

In MCD, your presence is required but you can be exempted if the court is satisfied.
