Meaning of "Business : For orders"

Hi, my case was listed yesterday in high court. In yesterday evening when i checked online, the next hearing date was updated and the Business was updated as "FOR ORDERS".

What is the meaning when case status shows as "Business : For orders"

Means the case is posted for orders; Bussiness means the proceedings on the case

Thanks. Does that mean final decision or judgement will be given on that day ?

1. Means that next court date is fixed for oral Orders, to be pronounced by judge.  It also signifys conclusion of proceedings by both the opposite parties.  Oral orders are concise & summary in nature.  Judge later on writes /dictates the full order, at some other time as feasible.

Thanks....but will it be interim orders or final orders...because in the petition it is sought for interim stay etc.

1. In your original query did you mention "petition is sought for interim stay" ????

2. IF application is for interim relief, THEN judge would post interim orders.

3. Final orders will be given when full case is disposed off or closed for orders.
