I am all in favour of filing a suit to claim sister's share. If the brother is so adamant and does not sea reason, hell with such relationship.

Could anyone opine on my query pl. i.e.., What is the position if the property is ancestral and located in Tamilnadu. What is the share available to the mother if she is married in the year 1957. Both her parents are no more. Even the brothers are no more. Some of the properties are sold by the brothers stating that there are no female legal heirs. How to take action on those porperties. Thanks.

you can file suit for partition.in that suit you can pray that alienation is not binding on you & the property which is sold by them should be alloted to your uncles
