My wife filed for a divorce against me, please advice

My wife filed divorce case against me, I filed a divorce notice as well through a lawyer and I received couple of court summons to which I did not respond to, my lawyer said there will be another summon next month from the court and to my wife as well, I want to know is there any legal complications involved as I did not respond to court summons? As I served the divorce notice as well through my lawyer, I want to know will this case be considered as divorce through mutual consent? someone please advice me on how this case will proceed, I am kind of confused and how long will it take for the court to grant us divorce? I might sound stupid but I am little confused. please advice someone..

If you both need divorce then please both of you don't hire any advocate.

Please speak to you wife not to hire any lawyer and both of you file petition U/S 13B Divorce by mutual consent in-peron(Without Advocate) in the family court without blaming each other. Both of you appear also in-person.It will not take much time.

But if you and your wife hire advocate then both of you will be misled by them and will take life long time.

FYI,

13B Divorce by mutual consent of Hindu Marriage Act.
