My brother got married in march 2008. She filed wrong 498 case on my brother, father, mother and me. We got anticipatory bail and came out with all these incidents my mother died with heart attack, Iam fed up with my life I want to go abroad for some years can I get passport, please advice me.

hi ,,, my brothers wife is threatning my brother , mother, father and me to put a false dowry case on us... is there any way to protect ourselves from FIR as it can spoil our social image and a harrassment on us ..and please tell me the bad to bad effects wich me n my family can undergo after they put false dowry case on us ,.. and way to face these false cases...

Before she files the Dowry Harassment case, File a Criminal intimidation case on her for threatening you and your family with False cases with some evidence in court, then You will have a good defence.
