The Food security Ration card is an important official document which is issued by the Government of India for the citizens. Steps to Apply for a new ration card online in Tamil Nadu

Visit the official website of Tamil Nadu Public Distribution System (TNPDS).

Click for “Smart Card Application” under the links located in the Homepage of the website.

After clicking on the link, an application form will open.

Fill in the necessary details in the application form. The details include: Name of the Family head, father’s name/husband’s name, address, district, taluk, village, pin code, mobile number, card option, proof of residence.

In the second set of the application form, enter the details about the Gas Connection. It includes:

Name of the person in whose name the connection is registered.

Oil company
-
LPG Consumer Number
-
Name of the Gas Agency

Number of Cylinders

After filling all the required details, upload the residence proof in JPG, PNG or GIF Format. The size should be 100 Kb size.

After completing all the information, click on the submit button.
