Non-compliance under maternity benefit act

During the time of the current pandemic , my Company being a medium scale enterprise is not a situation to continue it's tie up for a creche facility as required under the Maternity Benefit Act .What impact or what penalties can be imposed for non-compliance ??

Imprisonment or fine or both. Check Sec. 21 of the Act.

Sir same issue, I am not been paid for day care for 3 year old baby, I am working from 10 years .this is a limited company having more than 2000 employees. In Gurgaon.

Now they are asking me to come office , not allowing to work from home and also do not have day care facility in office of any reimbursement for the same . Since due to covid cases all day care are closed on my area Organization in Gurgaon . What action can be taken
