Thanks Kumar for your reply..

Last year they offered me to changes my status from consultant to employe but that time I did not know that I will face these situation and I told him that I will think coz as a employee three months notice period and as a consulatant only one month notice period.

Now I thinking to convert my status to employe, will this be good? please suggest and If I convert my status in employe status I will have to face probation period(6 months) rit?

Thanks in advance

The notice period may vary from company to company. As an employee you may be eligible for many benefits e.g. PF and pension (even from PF a/c with EPFO), ESIC to take care of post retirement life……………….group insurance, Gratuity, etc………..which as consultant you may not get…………………Hence company saves money from Employer’s contribution……………………………

Some companies do not ask for strict attendance (as in case of employee) but many companies want the consultants also to observe office hours and even more………………….……………….

You may evaluate the pros and cons of the offers and decide……………….

You may keep in touch with good HR consultant and career councilors. They can help you.
