My uncle is Advocate since last 33 years and from 2008 is Public Notary - Govt. of India.
First Issue Licence - 28 Feb. 2008 - 28 Feb.2013
Renewal done- 28 Feb.2013 - 28 Feb. 2018.
Now, for renewal - As per the new rules amendment in notaries rules 2014, you should submit the renewal application before 6 months prior to date of expire.
As my uncle was not well we were not able to submit prior to 6 months before expiring licence. however, we submitted the application 3 months (Dec.17) prior to expire date; we also submitted medical documents as well.
Since Dec. 2017 we have not heard anything from Notary Cell, New delhi. It's now more than 5 months and licence is been expired.
What can be done in this situation?
