Parents divorce issue

Dear experts,

We came to know that my father was cheating on my mother and even has a 12 year kid. My mother knew this for very long time but suffered for our future as she is not having a job or proper qualification. So she raised us (me nd my younger sis). We just now came to know It’s really very difficult to cope up with the situation as his “secret” has been exposed in front of us. He used to treat her like waste but suffered at that time coz there was a reason for her – to raise us. But now I got a job nd I can handle her and my sis as well. Hence there no reason for her to suffer now and she wants divorce from him. The thing is they were married in Kerala and we are now in Mumbai. So where should she file for divorce? At Kerala court or Mumbai court? my father is a business man and has gud amount of property. But majority is on loans. My mother doesn’t have any demand. All she need is a loan free house and monthly 20k rupees as monthly family expense.  Also my father has taken are few property loans taken against her name. He is repaying them. After divorce how are we gonna handle those properties? Transfer of name etc. Please helps me as I have no clue on what to do.

As you have told your mother is legal wife of your father and the second marriage is void your mother can file a divorce at Mumbai if she is residing there but as i think that she will not do so.first of your mother should decide to take any action.
