I was allotted a stilt garage by the chief promoter of a CHS on payment . The allotment letter , signed by Secretary and Chairman (formerly Chief Promoter) also gives its serial number. The stilt garage was being used as Society Office temporarily. The Chief Promoter promised to vacate it after the receipt of Occupation Certificate.
When I came to know the OC has been received, I wrote to the Society . The Chairman and Secretary had changed by then. They informed that the Approved plan shows it as Society office therefore it cannot be demolished. The Chief Promoter wrote a letter to the Chairman of the Society, that the Office was temporary in the stilt so it should be vacated and shifted to new location , and the Stilt be handed over to me. But the majority of stilt holders, 66 out of 96 flats, are not interested in doing so. They want the people parking in the open to pay Rupees 500 per month as parking charges, while they will not pay any parking charges as they paid charges for the stilt to the Chief Promoter and are losing interest on the same.
The Society at one stage informed me, vide a copy of letter addressed to another member and Dy.Registrar, , that another Stilt No. is allotted in my name as per records with them. When I requested them to give back this stilt, they informed that the records were not authenticated.
Kindly advise what to do.
