Partition of ancestral property

I am P.K Prasad from Asansol(W.B). I have a big quairy regarding the law of succession of property.

We have many ancentral property in asansol. Just 24 years back we have divided the entire property 

in five equal parts among our grandmother and her four daughter. One of the share  holder sold her

1/5th share to three other share holder exepts grandmother .After one year the grandmother died in

natural death with out left any WILL or she did not make any gift to the name of any doughter.

Now the remaining three daughter claiming 1/3rd share of entire property.

SHE CAN DO SO ?

IT IS LEGAL UNDER SUCCESSION ACT.?
