Dear All members of the forum...

Marriage took place 14 months back. Couple was not happy, though living together under one roof. Bride left Matrimonial Home after 14 months of Marriage. Under what special circumstances Mutual consent Divorce (13-B Divorce) can be granted by Family court.

Thanks

Prem

The Bombay high court on Tuesday waived the mandatory six-month waiting period for couples, who, during the pendency of their appeal against the family court order, decide to end their marriage through mutual consent

Mutual consent divorce can be granted - when you have decided on the terms of divorce - about property, child and others ... as for the time period of 6 months has been waived

If you are in Pune you can contact me, my email is adv.gokhale@gmail.com

6 months waiting period can be waived only if you are have appealed a lower court decision in a higher court. It cannot be waived by lower court.
