Power of attorney

Me and my wife separated before 3 years and she filed MC case under crpc 125 which is ready for trial now. I filed an RCR and the first hearing is yet to happen. I don't want to finish the MC case and need to drag it.

My question is

At this stage can i give a petition for power of Attorney to my father so that he can apear on behalf of me for this MC case?

If  i give  power to my father, When my presence will be  needed for both MC as well as RCR cases?

Learned Advocates , your reply will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Silver

You can give POA to your father, however your presence will be required at the time when court calls upon and at the time of evidence.
