It is tough to get the details only with the name. You have to know the citation to get the facts of the case.

u've one choice go to the local court and veerified the isthihar book which shows the all regd and retuned numbered particulars if u wants to civil case in case your search is for criminal in same manner another book also available the problem is what type of case you want to know details .

try otherway...find out the lawyers who appreared for both parties..petitioner and respondent...go to either lawyer's office and try to find out the case detail...

The particulars of the case can be known by : -

Title of the case : When the person about whom you are curious to know is one of the party (being an initiator or got notice by court to appear and reply)

Subject matter : Be it civil, criminal, labour, tax, writ court , Matrimonial matter, Lok Adalat etc.

Jurisdiction of the Court : Wherever the cause of action has arisen the matter gets adjudicated there only as such you have to approach the concerned court only.
