Price hike problem of petrol

I think now the time has come that, rationing of petrol should be started in our country.

1. Every private vehicle owner should be alloted a fixed quota, according to number of vhicles, type of vehicle and according to his real requirement.

2. Rate should be applied normally if he comsumes within his prescribed quota, and rate should be increased if he exceeds his quota. Rate must be increasing in proportion to consumption.

3. Public carrier should be exempted.

4. There should be strict supervisory control on misuse of govt. vehicles by beaurocrates and our leaders.

                                                                    Please add more suggesstion.

Dear Arvind

Agree with you in point no 1,2,4.

Main revenue from petrol/diesel is come from Trucks and industries.

Shailesh sir thanks for the contribution.

I have suggeted for the exemption of public carrier and taxies. because price of disel is not increasing as of petrol, and if taxis are not exempted it will affect ultimatly the public in general and bread of taxi owners. We have seen that taxi owner consumes very sparingly , only we people are who can't step even 50 meters on foot.
