As per the Standars of Weights and Measures (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 1977 every packaged commodity is to have a label giving discripttion and details of commodity along with the maximum retail price of the commodity.
As per rule 2 of the Rules "Institutional consumer" shall not be covered by the said rules.
Whether cinemas and multiplexes are covered under the definition of "institutional consumer" if no, please cite judgements for the same.
