Property co-owner as minor

I have finalised  property, flat and want to own  property on my name but I want to add my son's name 7 yr old as second owner also.Is there any  legal complications during buy/sell/ in future with this arrangement?

Please reply as I want to finalize the same.

If you add your minor son's name in the property then, you will not be able to sell his share without the permission of the court. So, if you want to sell it in the future, then it will be better if you purchase it in your own name only.

There is nothing wrong in adding your minor son's name as a joint owner to the title of the property.  As rightly pointed out by Advocate Ms. Archana, you have to decide about retaining the property until your minor son becomes major by age or else you have observe the formalities as advised.
