sir/madam we are five brothers and two sisters,4 brothers are working in government one brother doing agriculture.sisters are married.ten years back we made property divison papers.which we did not register on taluk office.now today my father and mother both expired.no body showing interst on property division.in between one brother before my father death signed gift deed on some property and got to his name.now tell me how to divide the property to all brothers and some land to sisters.i am really confused. i asked secratery of village for using old property division record and go ahead with division.he says it is not valid and as per division there is not enough land to divide(i.e existing and divided differs).i stay in karnataka.tha secratary says that the new rule is to get surveyed the entire land belong to father then make division.
