1. IF property transaction has taken place in Maharashtra, THEN under the provisions of Maharashtra Coop. Societies Act, Rules & approved Bye-Laws, property transaction between blood-relatives, does not attract "Share Transfer Premium".  However the following is applicable:

a) Membership Entrance Fees: 100/-

b) Membership Transfer Fees: 500/-

c) Share Transfer Fees: 0/-

2. For other States than Maharashtra, kindly prefer to check the Society Bye-Laws, for more details.

Dear querist,

Transfer fees in your case is not applicable you can pay nominal transfer fees and entrance fees. If society still asking for transfer fees in that case you can approach co. op. registrar and file application.

I am afraid that property transactions blood relatives means legal heirs etc., through family settlement deeds and not outright sales registration.
