Yes , if any rectification in sale deed is made then it's registration is mandatory.

Thank you sir, for the reply. Could you also confirm, if certain changes are made to original registry in handwriting, and cross signed by the seller, does such registry documents hold any legal value?

No, you both the psrties have to execute rectification deed.
