In response to your query,
You can suggest your friend to take a legal action for Forging of documents and Impersonation.
Forging documents entails creating fake documents such as a Will, gift deed, or sale deed, or forging signatures on documents through which a transfer is made.
When the transfer is carried out by concealing the true facts or by impersonation, i.e. when someone poses as the original owner of the property before the registering authorities and signs the documents necessary to complete the transfer.
