Required documents

As I understand Indian Rules are not different from religion to religion and status to status.

Like every married woman you can apply for passport by submitting those documents that are necessary for passport.

Now, mentioning of husband's status, his no objection, present status of marriage etc., were dispensed with.

 However, you can also file simple application under RTI to Passport office for more clarification and note to provide only facts.  If passport is rejected, they may even impose fines for providing incorrect information and you may face difficulties in applying for further passport next time.
