..We have an ancestral property we rebuilt in 1992.We have divided it into equal share .Now the questin is whether a wife has a right over that distributed property equal to all the memebers in the family? or whether she has only a right to live?

Wife have right over husbands self acquired property.

She has no forced share in proeprty.
She may claim right to reside in property of her husband...............
