I posess a shop room in a building about to be demolished & reconstructed. My late father was the origenal tenant & till now my landlord issues the rent receipt in my father's name, who expired 15 year's ago.

Landlord want's to sale me the proportanate part t in the reconstructed building, for which i have to vacate my posession in the building.

What precaution should i get before vacating my shop room ,which is my only source of earning my livinghood?

please suggest.

take a declaration from the landlord that he will again make the same for you; and all this before the rent controller who will take of the things better than every one else.

Thank you Mr. Tanwar for responding to my quaries.

After taking advice of a good Advocate I am preparing for a registerd aggrement for sale. Further my Advocate adviced to ask for an alternative accommodation from landlord which he accepted for which my landlord will provide me a rented shop taken by him for me ,for the period till he gives possession in new building.

Will it be suffice ?

thank you once again, and waiting for your further response.
