I would like to know if I have to pay any cancellation fee to cancel the above said registered documents. this was on the process of buying an apartment. unfortunately I am not able to continue due to financial problems. Will I be able to get back the money paid at the time of registration (maybe after the deduction of cancellation charges)? Kindly clarify.
Well you must look into the agreement terms what is written if the party failed to comply with intention of executing the agreement.
You cannot escape from the executed agreement which governs the conduct of parties . If the agreement terms mention anything about cancellation and repayment then you can invoke that clasue.
However it is better to settle with the other party and may be he would be kind enough to understand your problem and cancel the deal and may refund.
