HE SHOULD BE IMPEACHED & PUNISHED IN THE PROPER COURT OF LAW
Anil Agrawal (Retired) 18 December 2009
It is a knee jerk reaction. Why should he be impeached? What about those lawmakers against whom charges of heinous crimes like rape, murder, dacoity, embezzlement are pending in courts all over the country? Remember they are making laws for us. On the one hand we say from the house top that everybody is innocent until proven guilty but in the case of Dinakaran all of us seem to have already pronounced him guilty and decided on the punishment also! If we donot like someone, we punish him. Is it the law of the land?
He may not be elevated to the SC due to he hue and cry raised against him. But impeachment, forget it.
Mani Narayanaswamy (Lawyer) 18 December 2009
Now that the Collegium has officiallly decided to drop Justice Dinakaran from elevation, he has moral responsibility to resign. Further, Rajya Sabha has admitted the impeachment motion filed against Justice Dinakaran. At this rate, he should resign. At least he can practice in the Supreme Court.
Anil Agrawal (Retired) 18 December 2009
Why morality is attached to Judge Dinakaran only? What about law makers?
Anil Agrawal (Retired) 19 December 2009
IF is the qualifying word. If an accused is found guilty he is punished. What is so big about it? Will any criminal case be filed against him IF....
Snehalkumar (NIL) 19 December 2009
I SAY LAW IS NOT ABOUT LOGIC, ITS ABOUT EXPERIENCE.
TIME AND AGAIN SUPREME COURT IS PREACHED ALL OVER AS DECISIONS FROM SC IS BINDING UPON ALL COURTS.
DEPENDING UPON FACTS AND OTHER INVESTIGATIONS, THE ACCUSED MUST BE PUNISHED PROVIDED THE ACCUSITIONS ARE NOT FALSE.
Anil Agrawal (Retired) 19 December 2009
Why impeach him? Because the charges against him are grabbing of other's land. Is it a criminal offence? Yes. They why impeachment only? Why not criminal cases against him?
Anil Agrawal (Retired) 19 December 2009
DRAMA IS OVER AND OUT.
The parliamentary forum of SCs, which includes MPs cutting across party lines, came out strongly against the impeachment move which, incidentally, has been admitted in Rajya Sabha.
Calling it "discrimination", the dalit MPs passed a resolution demanding that an inquiry should be instituted against all judges who have charges of corruption against them and one person should not be singled out.
Anil Agrawal (Retired) 19 December 2009
Vote bank or impeachment?
Match decided before the toss.

Dear friends, Abhi the khel ka maja Aare (brocken hindi like the brocken arrows). Who is NOW fighting against corruption? Who is NOW leading this procession against corruption?? Who is NOW standing to uplift the goal of a corruption free Judiciary?, Who has NOW given notice? How many is NOW really qualified to fight against corruption? Who is NOW against the motivation to file notice? Some unknown forces are there. Who are they? Defenetily BIG FISHES. Who is NOW behind the curtain against a justice? Is it an unfair mimicry NOW between the SC vs politics? Is he alone the ONLY corrupt? Is it a part of the professional jealousy? Let the law proceed as the river DON flows quietly. Over enthuasiasm will defenetly destract the spirit and aim of the system, the only system we have hope, the judiciary. There is an intentional move to destroy the serenity of the temple of justice by some politicians with the active connivance and aid of some professionals at higher level advocay and judiciary. The whole excercise should ever, never be a play performed by them eralier as in the impeachment of Justice V ramaswamy. What they did? Betrayed with some third rate arguements. We should not allowe the BACK SEATERS to destroy our judicial system for thier illwill and unfair professional grudge. SO BE CAREFUL WHILE HANDLING THIS SUBJEST BY LCI FRETERNITY because LCI is unique in unique only. With love and regards & wish you all a happy new year and prosperous days to come. Dalit card has come into play. Government dare not touch him. Law is an ass and it has gone that way.
Poonam Upadhyay pathak (Advocate) 20 December 2009
Yes Justice Dinakaran should be impeached.
