Should specific relief act be invoked to declare a contract void

A contract can be voided under the Indian Contract Act. Is the Specific Relief Act required to be invoked for this?

I do not want to seek any performance under the Contract.  I want to seek compensation for fraud, for breach of trust and for voiding the contracts. Does Specific Relief Act come in the picture?

If there are reasons to believe that the contract conditions have been breached you can very well invoke the clause applicable as mentioned in the contract and claim relief as stated therein
