I am a resident of a co-op housing society in Vile Parle Mumbai. I have been struggling to pay my quaterly maintenance as I have other commitments.
I have managed to pay the 50% amount outstanding till date.
The society is levying an unspecified interest on such outgoing which I have paid as mentioned above.
However the society is forcing me to pay the balance amount by the end of this month with interest or threatening to cut off water supply to my flat.
Is there any law by which they can do so. Under what law can i seek protection for such an adverse action
