SHAMSHER SHAIKH (ACCOUNTANT)     03 February 2011

SRA Poperty

Hi,

My Name is Shamsher and I wil like to seek a legal opinion on purchase of a flat in SRA building. In 2005 I have purchased a room  from a person against which 2 flats were supposed to be allotted out of which one was to be handed to me by the seller. I have all the NOC from the society at the time of purchase including the sale deed, affidavit , Power of attorney of the Seller (original owner) and Kararanma in original . But in 2008 we came to know that the seller has sold the same flat to another owner and due to some vested interest the society is supporting the second buyer knowing the fact that he is not having the original documents in place.

Please help and advice me whether we do have strong legal standing in the case if we approach the law of land. And please anyone can suggest me a good specialist laywer in SRA property cases.

My email address is shamshershaikh@yahoo.com and shamshershaikh@gmail.com

SRA ; LOCAL rules and details need to be pursued.

LCI Experts Mr. Hemant Agarwal, Mr. Kishore Mehta, Mr. M.V.Gupta are from Mumbai.

If you wish you may approach them and discuss.
