Stamp duty concessions

My widowed sister and I purchased a flat in 1983 of 560 sq. ft with contributions from both and the property is registered in both our names. Now I would like to settle this property in favour of my sister. Can I avail concessional tariff of stamp duty to settle this property in favour of my sister? I am a bachelor and as such there are no direct claimants in my case. Parents are not alive.

dear  kirthi  the  best  way   to  settle   the  property  in  favour  of your  sister  is  by   way  of  transfer  by  gift  deed.  no  consideration  will  be  necessary.
