Step after closure of evidence

Hello,

We have filed  a FIR but Police submitted FR. After that , We have filed the objection and the FR got rejected. Currently the Doctors (For Verififcation of Injury Report )The Petitioner \ Victim and the eye witness have given the statment. Now I want to understand what is the next step ?

At What stage the accused will be summed or a warrant is issued against them ? And is there any other hearing after the closure of Evidence and if yes then what is the purpose of that Hearing ?

Thanks

hi,

as per the facts given by you after rejecting f.r, then there are only three steps to follow by court.1- court directly can take cognizance on the basis of protest petition filed by complainant and issue  summon or warrant against accused   2- court can direct police to further investigate the case u/s173(8)crpc    3-court can direct the complainant to proceed against accused u/s 200 and 202crpcon the basis of protest petition, so as per your information given here i can guess that magistrate has followed the 3rd step of taking statement of all witness and complainant, so now after this process left is final argument for summoning the accused  and on the basis of statement recorded and argument made court will issue summon or warrant against accused if prima facie case made against accused u/s 204crpc....
