so whatever present was given to you at the time of marriage is yours.

Any property belonging to the lady either brought from her home or given by husband's side or anyone as gifts belongs to her and all that belongs to her are called as Streedhan.

Vice-versa is true.
Even before marriage when they falls in love and gives any gift (such as a sun-glasses) later claims as dowry/Stridhan etc.
