Succession

My father has 1 brother who is been adopted by someone in long distance family. My father also had a Sister who died 5 years back. My grandmother who died in 1994 had a will of gifting the property woned by her to her grandson who is me. This property was self aquired by her & was not her ancestral property. Now daughters of my aunt are filing a case against the property I've inherited from my Grandmother. Can they do this? on which grounds? The property is in Dharwad, Karnataka.

They can file a case but they will not win it if the will was made properly.

You will have to prove the will in the court.
