Looking for help in process of making succession letter after my parents; for moveable and immovable assets. Most lawyers i have approached uptil now have had exorbitant feesand people are trying to take me for a ride..Looking forward for some help and right guidance as this is important for me.

Succession certificate is for collecting money due to your parents. Legal heirship certificate is for inheriting immoveable properties. Succession certificate can be obtained from the court of law. Legal heirship certificate will be issued to the legal heirs by Tehsildar where the property situate.

whether succession certificate will substitute "letter of administration" insisted by the paying authorities where the deceased was a HINDU, died intestate ? What are the relevant sections/Acts in this aspect?
