Sucession Certificate Chennai

Is there anyways to minimise the court charges / stamp duty on issue of sucession certiificate for shares held in demat form in Chennai Courts. Is it necessary to use market value of shares or can the book value of shares as per income tax records be used for the same.

refer court fee and stamp act of the state.  You have to pay in accordance of that you cannot avoid.
