Summons received from court

I have sold my bike to a person in 2016 and the same got registered on his name..(RC transferred on his name in ..confirmed thru RTA website).Now I received a Court Summon asking me to appear on 13-8-18 stating that I am the owner of the vehicle which met with an accident in 2018...Should I appear in court...I have nothing to do with that incident..plz help.

When you have received the summons, you have to appear in the court in response to that Summons.  When you appear, you state whatever that you wants to state and produce documents in your possession.  If you do not appear in response to the summons, then the Court will first issue Bailable Warrnat and then Non-Bailable warrant, which you can clearly avoid.

You may appear and put up your side in order to avoid complication at latter stage.

at the time of selling the byk you have transfer the documents of byk in to the buyers name.
