Kindly advice me regarding Income Tax implications of the now introduced by Govt. 10 days Earned Leave encashment along with Leave Travel Concession (LTC). Whether it is Tax exempted or taxable for employees in service? Many of the DDOs working in Punjab are treating it as tax exempt under LTC provisions.
