Tree fall down on the house by the rain

Dear sir I'm from kanyakumari., tamilnadu Yesterday Due to the rain my neighbor house teak wood was fall down on my house and house roof was fully collapsed. Firstly my neighbor told he will give for the expenses. It was estimated around 50000 by the contractor. Now he is telling he cannot give that much money like that.... What I can do when he refusing to give the equaliance.... When I m going to legal service it will be benifit for me for my lose Ur reply is appreciated

hello sir, there are two types of suggestions. if u go through according to law.. its a natural disaster the chances of recovery may not done and court fees, etc etc, and one more finally u may win or may not win the case and it takes lot of time

 

second option u just negotiate with neighbour and as much as he can give u just take because u r getting new roof and u only will enjoy that so u must contribute some thing and be friendly with neighbours because we can see their face daily and in future if some thing happen.. 1st helpers are nighbours only.. if helpful follow else ignore.. tq

You can't have any legal claim against your neighbour on account of the disaster by an Act of nature. Tree was not fell by your neighbour.

 

Better accept whatever amount he pays you, as compensation.
