Updating of kyc in uan portal

Dear Seniors,

I have been working in a manufacturing unit and few months back our company has been registered under NCLT and due this our Managing Director has not renewed his DSC who is the authorised person for signing PF claims. As employees are making corrections in their UAN portal which need to be approved by using DSC and if DSC is not available, how can employees KYC would be updated, as per PF rules without linking employees Aadhar with their UAN account employees cant withdraw or transfer their PF amount. In this view, request you to please advice an alternate solution for approving employees KYC in EPFO Portal.

Hi Suresh,

You can ask your employer to either renew his DSC of Class 2 and register the same on the portal and then take the print out of the DSC registration letter, Sign it by the holder of the DSC and Employer's sign (whose is already recorded with the EPFO department) and company seal and submit the same to the EPFO office. Once this is done, the EPFO will approve the DSC registration and then your employer can approve the KYC using that DSC and 2nd option is the employer can register e-sign on the EPFo portal and can use the same to apprive the KYC.
